Solve Dirt/Mud Stains At Home with Shout® Triple-Acting
Shout® Triple-Acting is the best product for this type of stain, but our other products will work as your next-best option.

Check the label. Make sure your garment is colorfast washable and says nothing about being “dry-clean only.” If the item meets both of those requirements, you’re ready for Step 2.

Pre-treat the stain with Shout® Triple-Acting, or one of the other recommended products. Be sure to rub it in for deep penetration. But remember, your item is made of delicate fabric, so try not to rub the garment too hard while using this product.

Show some patience. A dry stain means waiting 1-5 minutes, but a set-in stain means you’ll want to let the product set overnight or longer before washing. In either case, always launder in the warmest water your item recommends.
