Solve Rust Stains At Home with Tips & Tricks
We’ll admit it. Shout® products aren’t always the answer, but when they aren’t, we’ll always tell you what is.
- Step 1a.
(CHOOSE ONE) Buy a commercial rust remover from a hardware or grocery store and apply to the stain according to label directions
- Step 1b.
(CHOOSE ONE) Make a paste of salt and vinegar.
- Step 2b.
Rub this paste into the stain; let stand 30 minutes, and then rinse with water.
- Step 3b.
If some stain remains, repeat, rinse and launder with detergent in the warmest water your item recommends.
