About Us
Live it up. Shout® it out. Every mess tells a story. At Shout®, we celebrate the moments behind the stains.
Our backstory
Shout® launched in 1975 with the popular tagline "Shout It Out!" At Shout®, we believe the experience is always worth the mess and that's why Shout® has been about sponsoring FUN since the beginning!
In 1975, to celebrate our launch, we sponsored the “Shout® It Out” Decathlon, a wacky test of speed and sure-footedness for youngsters, at the Minneapolis “Festival of Fun.” We had so much fun that we sponsored additional decathlon events for kids in Memphis, Dallas, Philadelphia and Detroit.
In 1987 Shout® promoted the joys and learning potential of fingerpainting with its S.H.O.U.T. (Special Hints on Unleashing Talent) program.
In 1991, the Shout® Brand dedicated itself to “helping youngsters and teens enjoy a positive sports experience.” The Shout® for Clean Sports program put five cents of every Shout® product purchases in May and June towards the distribution of All-American Drug Free Team packets.
In 2014 Shout® became a national sponsor of The Color Run, a 3.1 mile run with more than 140 courses across the U.S.
...to name only a few of our favorites.

The messes you make and stains you get are just signs of time well spent
Shout® believes stains shouldn’t hold you back. Make the mess, we’ll handle the rest. So go ahead, lean into that muddy soccer game, dig into those saucy tacos, and throw yourself into that pottery class, because it's way more fun than missing out. And if you get a little messy in the process, we’ve got your back with easy and effective stain removal solutions that you can count on.

Meet our laundry in-wash solution!
Only have time for one load, but you want (need!) to wear your white pants and that bold red top? Tired of separating your whites from your darks when you do laundry? Us too! That’s why we LOVE our Shout® Color Catcher. Shout® Color Catcher Dye-Trapping Sheets absorb and trap loose dyes in your wash water, protecting your clothes against damage from color bleeds and helping preserve those vibrant original colors.
