Solve Chewing Gum Stains At Home with Shout® Advanced Grease Busting Aerosol

Dry-Clean Only Steps

Cool it. Chill the fabric with an ice cube to harden the gum.

Then peel off any excess gum, or scrape it off with the edge of a teaspoon or credit card.

If any gum residue remains, dry-clean the garment.

Pre-treat the stain with Shout® Advanced Grease Busting Foam, or one of the other recommended products. Be sure to rub it in for deep penetration.

Show some patience. A dry stain means waiting 1-5 minutes, but a set-in stain means you’ll want to let the product set overnight or longer before washing. In either case, always launder in the warmest water your item recommends.
